Retired and Senior Volunteer Program...

The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) is a referral service designed to find meaningful and rewarding volunteer opportunities for people over the age of 55.   RSVP is a network of over of 600 volunteers coupled with more than 50 placement organizations that matches a volunteer and his/her skills with an organization that needs help.

RSVP benefits you, the volunteer, by allowing you to continue to use your experience and skills, providing you with a chance to learn something new every day, and giving you the satisfaction of knowing you are making a difference.   RSVP strengthens the community by solving problems, meeting needs, and completing projects of non-profit organizations in the community.

Current volunteer opportunities with RSVP include the following:  Environment Volunteer, School Volunteer, Ombudsman Volunteer, Meals on Wheels & More Volunteer, American Red Cross, and Library Assistant.

If you are interested in any of these opportunities or would like more information on RSVP, please call the RSVP office at (814)765-2226 or 1-800-225-8571, or you can get more information mailed to you by sending us the Volunteer Information Request Form.
