Informal Supports

Many needs of older persons can often be met by family, friends, churches, and volunteers.  Sometimes all that is needed is coordinating the good work and availability of these informal care givers in a schedule that works best for all involved.  Other times, the efforts of loved ones can be supplemented with more formal community services.  In either instance, AAA RN Assessors and Care Managers will work closely with the older person and their family to first determine what is already being provided and if any additional informal supports can be arranged.
