Our Mission:

The Clearfield County Area Agency on Aging, Inc. is a charitable, non-profit corporation dedicated to providing a comprehensive array of the highest quality health and human services to residents of Clearfield County. We will accomplish this mission by committing to our guiding principals of Integrity, Coordinated Community Partnerships, Best Service, Progressive Attitudes, Professionalism, Teamwork and Investment in our Employees and Volunteers.

1977:   Incorporation of Agency

1981:   Agency Logo is chosen

1984:   Blizzard Box Program begins

1987:   One Millionth Meal is Served

1989:   New Corporate Office and Senior Center opens 

1989:   Agency becomes sponsor of the Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP)

1990:   Administration on Aging's National Community  Achievement Award for Blizzard Box Program is awarded

1992:   Mature Resources Foundation (MRF) begins

1993:  Two Millionth Meal is Served

1995:   Friends of the Area Agency on Aging is founded 

1996:   Agency's Guiding Principles are developed 

1996:   Awarded the Robert Wood Johnson Grant: Faith in Action

1997:   JC Penney Golden Rule Award: Faith in Action received

1998:   MA Waiver Program begins

1999:   Phillip Morris and Meals on Wheels of America Senior Helping Grant is received

1999:   Quality of Life Award: Moshannon Valley Economic Development Partnership is conferred 

2000:   Agency chosen as Beta Test Site for Beacon Information and Referral  

2000:   Agency chosen as Beta Test Site for     SAMS (Senior Client Database) 

2002:   Agency 25th Anniversary

2005:   Meal Production & Distribution Center
