The Clearfield County Area Agency on Aging, Inc. (CCAAA) is teaming up with Priority Communications of DuBois to offer a weekly radio news talk series that will air on News Talk 1420 WCED. The Ask the Expert show is scheduled to air every Friday, beginning September 10th 2004 through August of 2005, and can be heard between 8:37AM and 9:00AM.
Ask the Expert gives the CCAAA an opportunity to inform listeners of the many programs and services the agency has to offer. The CCAAA will be providing their expertise on a variety of issues, ranging from Meals on Wheel to the Waiver program, the importance of senior centers to Medicare questions and even flu shots to fundraising.
Although many of the shows will be prerecorded, the radio show will allow listeners to call in and ask questions to CCAAA staff during designated live broadcasts.
According to CCAAA Executive Director, John Kordish, this is one of several ways the agency is trying a new marketing technique. We are very excited about this opportunity. Having a radio show like this allows us to reach thousands of people at one time and educating them about all of our programs and services.
